Annual report
2005-2006

2005/2006 has been a year of challenges, opportunities, and looking to the future. Through our comprehensive strategic planning process, our charity has put in place a plan that will ensure we are able to serve more people in more program locations. 2006-2009 will be exciting times for our charity as we focus on our key strategic directions of program and facility development, communications, and philanthropic development.

Our main business, as it has been for the past 152 years, is the "transformation business". We help people transform their lives from unhealthy to healthy, from isolated to involved, from unsupported to supported, from unemployed to employed.

We want to thank every one of our 14,000 participants in employment & enterprise, children's services, and health fitness & recreation programs. We also thank our employees, volunteers, and donors for their outstanding contributions to making our Y the place where everyone belongs and making our communities even better places to live.
