Running Room helps support YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

On July 16, 2008, at the Running Room's 20 Minute Challenge, Laura Pomeroy, St. John's Running Room Store Manager, presented Craig Rowe, YMCA-YWCA of Northeast Avalon Board Chair, with a cheque from the proceeds raised at the Resolution Run held on New Year's Eve 2007.

This generous gift will go to the YMCAs of Newfoundland and Labrador Strong Kids Campaign to help the Y offer financial assistance to those who would otherwise be unable to benefit from its services. The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign is focused on raising much needed financial support for children, youth, and families who are unable to afford the full cost of participation in a Y program or activity.
